  Accounts Payable Assistant
Our Northwest Mississauga area client has an opening for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join the Finance group. Reporting to the General Accounting Supervisor, the Accounts Payable Assistant is responsible for the maintenance of the accounts payable financial allocations and payments to suppliers in collaboration with the Accounts Payable Coordinator. The Accounts Payable Assistant will perform the following job duties: • Collecting, obtaining approvals, coding and entering supplier invoices • Processing employee expense reports • Reconciling intercompany payables • Assist with the reconciliation of supplier statements and follow-up with project managers and suppliers on outstanding invoices • Maintain filing system for supplier invoices The successful candidate will demonstrate a keen attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Candidates should have a minimum of two years’ experience in a similar role. The duties of this role require an intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
